Our cooperation with Manitowoc demonstrates our precision manufacturing capabilities in the field of crane equipment and electrical enclosure solutions.

Manitowoc is a globally recognized manufacturer of lifting and crane equipment, with its product portfolio covering a wide range of tower cranes and other lifting solutions. The Igo M 24-19 is one of its self-erecting crane models, designed for applications such as construction and renovation. In this cooperation, Hehua Machinery Technology (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. provided customized manufacturing support for a key electrical enclosure used in the crane system.

The specific product is a Crane Electrical Box – IGO M24-19 CC, with an overall size of 1275 × 1070 × 450 mm and a part weight of approximately 28 kg. The main structure is manufactured from 304L stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and structural durability for demanding industrial applications.

To further improve corrosion resistance, all small components, including hinges, screws, and other hardware, are manufactured from 316L stainless steel or materials with better corrosion resistance, with the exception of the studs. This material selection helps ensure reliable performance and long-term durability of the electrical box during its service life.

The manufacturing process begins with laser cutting of the stainless steel sheet according to the required dimensions and design specifications. The cut components are then formed through bending to achieve the required structural geometry. After the individual components are prepared, welding and assembly are carried out to complete the main enclosure structure and ensure accurate integration of the various components.

Special attention is given to dimensional accuracy, welding quality, structural alignment, and assembly precision throughout the manufacturing process. For a large electrical enclosure used on crane equipment, accurate positioning of the panels, doors, hinges, fasteners, and other structural components is essential to ensure smooth installation and reliable operation.

After fabrication and assembly, the electrical box undergoes a dedicated painting and surface treatment process. The exterior is treated with a primary layer followed by a gray RAL 7024 textured finish on both the inside and outside surfaces. The coating provides additional surface protection while giving the finished enclosure a consistent and durable industrial appearance.

The combination of 304L stainless steel for the main structure and 316L stainless steel or higher-corrosion-resistance materials for small components reflects the project's strict requirements for material performance and corrosion protection. This is particularly important for crane equipment that may be exposed to different industrial and outdoor working environments.
